The Vacancy
We are looking for an arborist to join our in-house team and start climbing right away. You will be competent in cross cutting maintenance and felling of trees up to 380mm, safe use of wood chippers, forestry first aid, accessing a tree using a rope and harness, aerial tree rescue operations, aerial cutting of trees using freefall techniques and aerial tree rigging.
If this is you, we have an exciting opportunity available for you to become our in-house team and a part of the Places and Spaces team. We are looking for someone to support the direct delivery of routine and proactive tree management who can engage with people, monitor delivery standards, and ensure team members and the public are always safe with health and safety being in the forefront of everything you do.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out specialist tree surgery works and tree felling in residential areas. Therefore, you will hold qualifications enabling you to work at height including climbing and aerial rescue, operating a chainsaw from a rope and harness as a minimum.
