This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Asset Strategy and Investment team where you will deliver a customer focussed service for major improvement, planned maintenance, adaptations, cyclical maintenance and neighbourhood spaces programmes.

You will help develop, lead and manage the delivery of high quality contracts and works within the Capital and Revenue Programmes, ensuring that all KPI’s and targets are met.

The successful person will have experience of effective contract management of external contractors and/or internal trade teams and be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and customer excellence.

You will ensure delivery of Bron Afon’s objectives by working collaboratively with Community Housing and Support, Direct Services, Leasehold Management and Development teams.

You will champion Health and Safety in the delivery of projects ensuring that the organisation meets all legal, regulatory and inspection frameworks.

You will play a lead role in supporting organisational and cultural change leading to the development and improvement of services, via service plans, and the delivery of Bron Afon’s mission and values always working in partnership and engaging with staff, third party stakeholders, tenants, members and residents of Torfaen.

You will develop and lead the delivery of identified contracts and projects from inception to completion, engaging and working with key stakeholders to ensure that Bron Afon delivers high quality, value for money outcomes and that time, cost and profitability targets are met or exceeded.

You will assist the team in delivering excellent surveying, procurement and management of contracts and projects, ensuring that excellent cost and regulatory control documentation, Health and Safety and performance management systems are in place, to deliver projects on time and within agreed financial constraints.
